# Social Media Policy

Welcome to the ONEBIKE social media policy.

# 1. PURPOSE

Our priority is the health and well-being of our team members, both online and offline. While social media can have positive effects, such as facilitating social connections, self-promotion, and providing a platform for creative expression, it can also have negative effects on mental and emotional health.

By creating a simple and transparent policy, we aim to promote the positive effects of social media usage while attempting to mitigate the negative effects, with the goal of supporting the overall well-being of our team members.

# 2. DEFINITIONS

  • Social media — Content created and distributed primarily using online platforms such as, but is not limited to, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, Twitter, YouTube, WhatsApp, Facebook, forums, and blogs.
  • Team member — Includes, but is not limited to, any person that is a ONEBIKE athlete, staff, director, board member, or volunteer.
  • Inappropriate content — Any content that is discriminatory, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise harmful or offensive. This includes content that promotes violence, illegal activities, or any behavior that is contrary to ONEBIKE's values and mission.

# 3. ONEBIKE

  1. For team members, social media usage is voluntary and not a requirement. Team members are free to choose whether or not to have a personal social media account, and there will be no requirement to create one.
  2. For team members, posting, reposting, or sharing content on social media is optional. There is no requirement or obligation for any team member to share or promote ONEBIKE, sponsor, or partner content on their personal social media accounts.
  3. ONEBIKE will not enter into any contractual agreements with sponsors or partners that require team members to share content on social media using their personal accounts.

# 4. YOU

  1. If you choose to post, repost, or share ONEBIKE related content on your personal social media account(s), you are free to do so.
  2. Please use common sense when creating social media content.
  3. Have fun, ride your bike.
